Overview
The Aitkin County Health & Human Services Advisory Committee has been in existence since December 1998. The purpose of this advisory committee is to discuss issues relevant to Health & Human Services, act as a liaison between taxpayers and county commissioners, and make recommendations to the commissioners based on input from committee members. This is related to Health & Human Services issues only and does not include other county departments.
Advisory Committee Openings
The Advisory Committee is seeking members to fill the following openings:
Term is for two years. Members must be able to commit to attending at least six meetings per year. Applications are being accepted until the positions are filled.

Mission
To actively participate in the formulation and ongoing review of the plan for the development, implementation, and operation of the programs and services of the Health & Human Services Board in its mission to assist citizens, preserve families and promote dignity, safety, health, responsibility, and self-sufficiency.
